Faye Family Annual Meeting

Members of the Faye ʻohana recently traveled from near and far to Kauaʻi for the annual meeting of Kikiaola Land Company. The gathering brought together family members representing multiple generations for a week of meetings, site visits, and opportunities to reconnect with one another and our community. Annual meetings provide an important opportunity to review company activities, discuss future priorities, and strengthen the shared values that have guided the family and company for generations. For many, the meeting is also a chance to spend time with relatives, learn from family leaders, and deepen their connection to the people, places, and history that make West Kauaʻi so special.

Three Decades of Dedication

For 34 years, Connie M. Heidelberger has been at the heart of Kikiaola Land Company. As Executive Secretary, she has brought dedication, professionalism, and a deep commitment to our family business every day. Connie is much more than a valued employee; she is an integral part of our Kikiaola ʻohana. We are grateful for her many contributions and proud to celebrate this remarkable milestone.

Kikiaola Land Company is a longtime family business based in Waimea, Kauai. Kikiaola translated from Hawaiian means the “sprouting springs of Ola” and is the name of an irrigation ditch located in Waimea Valley. Just as the ditch’s stonework stands resilient and harmonious, Kikiaola Land Company builds relationships within our local community that are enduring and contribute to the well-being of our island home. Founded by Hans Peter Faye, a Norwegian who emigrated to Kauai in the 1880s to grow and process sugar cane, today the company has various local businesses, including Waimea Plantation Cottages and a weekly farmers market, and is owned by 150 members of the Faye ohana.
