Restoring Waimea’s Historic Signs

Kikiaola Land Company is committed to preserving our community’s heritage and honoring the places and people that make Waimea unique. The historic walking tour signs found throughout town have long helped residents and visitors connect with our town’s rich history and culture. Today, these well-loved markers have become weathered and in need of replacement. Kikiaola will lead their restoration, ensuring that Waimea’s stories remain visible, accessible, and celebrated for generations to come.

Westside Highlights

Kikiaola is proud to support the following wonderful organizations:

Kumano I Ke Ala works to empower West Kauaʻi through perpetuating Hawaiian culture, restoring agricultural spaces, and engaging the next generation of cultural practitioners. They are also involved with the Waimea Moʻolelo Project, in which the community has come together to create a vibrant mural that shares the stories of Waimea’s people, places, and history. We honor Kumano I Ke Ala’s commitment to honoring culture, strengthening community, and cultivating a sustainable future for Waimea and beyond.

Keala offers youth programs at four facilities on Kauaʻi, teaching students discipline, integrity, humility, and the value of hard work. Mahalo to the Keala team for providing so much love and care for Kauaʻi’s youth.
